Thank you very much to give us your opinion! At last we know that the mayority want to have a class dinner in Danon, but it has been very hard-fought with Xoxikbe Restaurant!!! We are completely agree with the results, and we are sure that is going to be a great dinner!!!

Final work!!!

Hi!!! We have arrived to the end of DBH course, so to celebrate all these years, we have done a video about our moments. We include pictures of our excursions, parties, class pictures...

With this video we realized that we have had good moments, and ... that is all, we hope you like it!

Mind Map!

          This time, we have done a Mind Map about animals, using the program "Mind42.com". In our Mind Map, we have included a lot of information, for example how their body is made, how they are classify, how they are characterized and in what different habitats they live.

          We didn't know what "Mind Map" was, and now that we know how we can use it, we can say that it is a good programme for doing Mind Maps.

               " P.S: I love you " is a magnificent movie directed by Richard LaGravenese. The stars are also very good: Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, who play the role of Holly and Gerry in the movie. Apart of them, the casting is formed by Lisa Kudrow (Denise), Gina Gershon (Sharon), Jamen Marsters (John), Kathy Bates (Patricia), Harry Connick (Daniel), Nellie McKay (Ciara), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Willi) and Christopher Whalen (Gorge). Although they  all  have a small part in the film, they do a fabulous interpretation and they don't disappoint us.

               Holly has remained a widow when her husband dies after a long disease. But his husband had all prepared, every day a letter comes to her, to help her to go  forward.

                 It is a hard and very reflexive movie about the real love and about second opportunities of two people that  fall in love so deeply.

                  We have chosen this film  to do this work, because we like its topic a lot and we think that the protagonists and the other members of  the "P.S: I love you" are very good because they complete their roles perfectly. Apart from this, we should add that because of its fantastic touch,people who see the movie can enter into the protagonists' lives, so as the final is very exciting, most viewers can't avoid crying.

Music Video!

       In this project, We have learned how to subtitle videos in different languages. Firstly, we have chosen a video that we liked. In our case, Britney Spears' song called "Hold it against me" sung by Sam Tsui, because we like the topic of the lyrics and its melody a lot. Sam Tsui, is a young singer who is very famous in youtube, because of his voice.

        Then, using DotSub, an online programme that offers facilities to transcribe and translate the videos you like, we have included the lyrics of the song in the music video. After this, we translated it into Spanish, and finally into Basque.

             As we have said before, "Hold it against me" is Britney Spears' song. Britney Jean Spears was born on December 2, 1981 in McComb, Mississippi, United States but she was raised in Louisiana. She is an American singer, songwriter, producer, dancer, actress and entertainer.

            There are so many reasons why Britney Spears is so famous. One of them is her talent and her albums that sold in millions and millions of copies.Also, it is important to say that her fame damaged her image because she is funny, young, beautiful and extremely talented.

            In our opinion, this work has been very good, because we have learned something different and we know that this will be helpful for us.

          

Restaurant Xoxikbe!!!

           This time, we have had to make a website to advertise our business, in our case, "Restaurant Xoxikbe" with the program " google sites ". Firstly, we designed our website choosing the color of the font, model, images... Litle by litle, we have included a brief information about us ( home), location of our restaurant (with the help of a google map), a description of the services our business offers, photographs, menu, prices, our contacts and  the FAQ page. Finally, we have translated our "Home" page and the titles from English to Basque.

Problems to present the summary of first evaluation

The next work that we have done is to explain the summary of first evaluation using a PowerPoint. To complete this work we have had lots of problems, because firstly the computers didn't work as necessary in slideshare page. Also, we could not edit it. Hello again! We have chosen this person  because he is very  famous in all the world and because his story is very interesting for us.

Kofi Annan

          Kofi Atta Annan was born on 8th April of 1938 and he  started like the office of Secretary General of the United Nations from January 1, 1997 to December 2006. We think that he is a very interesting and known person in all the world because he has devoted over 30 years of his life to the United Nations.


     
         To obtain that good level he provide a lot, for example when he was young, thanks to the privileged position of his family, he studied economics and then he improved his studies in the United States and Switzerland, practising masters in economics. For this reasons we admire him, and we know that without his help the world would not be as it is now.


       
         Apart from this, we like this person because between November 1995 and March 1996 he ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in his rout of secretariat. However, there are also some negative things about this person: in our opinion Sr. Annan didn´t do his best to solve the problems in Africa.


            As a conclusion we can say that in general, this man did many positive and important things and he helped a lot to the world although he has some bad things and he has done a lot of failures.

FULFILLED DREAM

All started on a hot summer afternoon. We met all the friends to climb the mountain which is near the town and to enjoy at the top. I was very nervous because, there was a guy who was very attracted and that day I was willing to talk to him, so I wore the best clothes that I had in the closet and I did a beautifull hair dress.

We started going to the mountain very early and I was very nervous because Tom, the boy that I liked, was next to me. I didn’t know what I could say, but he started speaking with me. He asked me about my friends, my family, my hobbies... At four o’clock we stopped to eat something before we continued. I was cold and he left me his jacket.

In two hours we were on the top. From there we could see the sea, then, we decided to sit under a tree because we were tired and we needed to relax. In front of us there were some horses eating grass with their ponies. Tom wasn’t bored but he didn’t want to miss the chance of kissing a girl so he did as if he was yawning and he put his hand on my shoulder.

I was very nervous, Tom was approaching me and I didn’t know what I had to do. It was the first time that I was with the boy that I liked and I didn’t want to spoil it so also I started approaching to him. But suddenly Tom’s mobile phone started ringing. A girl was calling him.

I realized that Tom was taking advantage of me and that he had a girlfriend. I was very angry and I said to Tom that I needed an explanation.

-Sorry Sophie. I should have told you before but I have a girlfriend.-Tom said.

I was very depressed and angry so I went crying and running far from him. When I was crying under a tree one boy came.

The boy started to speak with me; I told him all that it had happened and the boy started to hug me and saying that I had to calm down. His name was Andy. We spent 30minutes speaking and finally, Andy asked my mobile phone number saying that he wanted to know more about me, but suddenly, Tom appeared.

Tom saw me with the other boy, he didn`t like the situation so he ran away. Meanwhile Andy kissed me. Andy went home and I stayed there crying. Tom appeared again and talked to me. Both of us were very uncomfortable .

Tom left me alone. I went to home but i got lost in the mountain. I took my mobile phoned but there was coverage.While I was walking to home I thought in Tom and suddenly I wanted to commit suicide.

I didn’t think twice and I went to a ravine. When I was there I think in my family, my friends and all the good moments of my life but I was decided and when I go to throw suddenly Tom appeared and he said something that I didn’t expect, he said me that he love me.

So I went to Tom and I gave him a big hug as such not in my life. Then the half began to mourn and I could not stand too began to mourn and he gave me a kiss on the mouth, and so we were like 5 minutes without kissing stop mourn at all times. when it stopped I looked into his eyes and he told me it was the love of his life and never leave me.

Tom broke up with his girl because he loved me. I was very comfortable with him but I also worried with Andy. One day I meet with him in the street and he was with a girl and he told me that they were together from some time and they look very happy. I was glad for him and we after we were very good friends.

.Teenagers vs adults.

     What teenager has never had problems with adults?

     

Sometimes, teenagers have problems to communicate whith teachers, parents... and this creates many rows. Those discussions can affect relations between adults and teenagers.

The mayority of the problems appear when they don´t give us the permission to stay long time at night in pubs, in parties, etc.


Also, quarrels appear when the children have problems to concentrate and to learn, because this situation creates anger in parents and teachers.

We believe the best solution is to talk to each other and to resolve these conflicts, because in this way they would understand each other better.

We have created one questionnaire to see what type of things cause a discusion, and according to the answers we have discovered that according to the mayority of the students the biggest cause is the computer, then the television, later the room disorder and the time at night, homework and school studies, and finally things like boy/girlfriend, lunch, tatoos, piercing, etc.
